Zračna luka u Skoplju više ne nosi ime Aleksandra Velikog

Makedonske vlasti uklonile su u subotu naziv “Aleksandar Veliki” sa zračne luke u Skoplju, ne bi li umirile susjednu Grčku i riješile spor oko imena zemlje.

Vlada socijaldemokrata Zorana Zaeva odlučila je 6. veljače preimenovati zračnu luku i glavnu autocestu u zemlji, koje su dobile ime po velikom helenskom osvajaču.

Oznake imena uklonjene su ranije ovaj tjedan s autoceste, od granice s Grčkom do granice sa Srbijom.

To bi moglo omogućiti rješavanje 27-godišnjeg spora s Atenom oko naziva države.

U pregovorima s grčkim vlastima do sada su se kao moguća rješenja spominjali nazivi Sjeverna, Gornja ili Nova Makedonija.

Zaev se nada da će spor biti riješen do summita NATO-a u srpnju kada bi zemlja mogla dobiti pozivnicu za članstvo.
