Poznati mladi glazbenici The Weeknd i Bruno Mars najveći si dobitnici ovogodišnje dodijele glazbenih nagrada Soul Train Awards, piše aceshowbiz.com.

Obojica su sakupili pet nominacija za različite glazbene kategorije, a kući su se vratili svaki s dvije nagrade.

The Weeknd je osvojio nagrade Best R&B/Soul Male Artist i Album of the Year za njegov glazbeni uradak ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’.

Pjesma Brune Marsa ‘Uptown Funk’ koju izvodi s Markom Ronsonom osvojila je nagradu Song of the Year i Video of the Year.

Ostali dobitnici glazbenih nagrada su Jidenna (Best New Artist), Kendrick Lamar (Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year za ‘Alright’) i Omarion (Best Collaboration za ‘Post to Be’ koju izvodi s Breezyem i Jhene Aiko).

Voditeljica eventa Erykah Badu ovom prilikom je i nastupila tokom programa večeri, kao i drugi istaknuti glazbenici.
