Sjeverna Koreja ispalila raketu s podmornice

Sjeverna Koreja izvela je u subotu probno ispaljivanje onoga što se čini kao balistička raketa koju je lansirala podmornica (SLBM) u vodama njezine istočne obale, objavilo je južnokorejsko ministarstvo obrane.

“Sjeverna Koreja je lansirala ono što vjerujemo da je SLBM iz voda smještenih ispred luke Sinpo oko 11.30 sati po lokalnom vremenu”, objavilo je južnokorejsko ministarstvo u priopćenju.

Ministarstvo nije neposredno navelo druge podatke.

Sjeverna Koreja već je testirala jedan SLBM 23. travnja. To je pozdravio prvi čovjek Sjeverne Koreje Kim Jong-un i nazvao testiranje “znakovitim uspjehom”, ustvrdivši da Pjongjang sad ima mogućnost udariti na Seul i SAD kad poželi.

Do lansiranja u subotu dolazi dan nakon što su Washington i Seul objavili da će u Južnoj Koreji rasporediti jedan od najusavršenijih sustava za proturaketnu obranu na svijetu – sustav THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defence).
