Potres magnitude 5,4 pogodio je u petak jug Meksika, izvijestio je Američki geološki institut. Zasad nema dojave o šteti.

Zasad nije jasno je li potres podrhtavanje tla nakon niza snažnih potresa koji su prošlog mjeseca rušili zgrade u Ciudad de Mexicu i odnijeli 500 života.

Epicentar potresa koji se dogodio u petak bio je u moru savezne države Oaxace, na jugozapadu Meksika, na dubini od 59,5 km, navodi USGS.

Potres magnitude 8,1 pogodio je Oaxacu 7. rujna blizu Juchitana, razorivši tisuće zgrada u tom vlažnom poslovnom središtu.

Fausto Lugo, čelnik hitne službe u Ciudad de Mexicu, izjavio je na tamošnjoj televiziji da se potres u petak osjetio i u prijestolnici, ali da zasad nema dojave o šteti.
